Silly, Fun, Kid Chaos!
When I decided I was going to take the leap and finally turn my hobby into a business, I reached out to one of my longest friends and offered to take her family's photos. She hadn't had family photos taken since their youngest joined their family, so these sweet pics were long overdue! I wanted to make these photos feel authentically "them" so I met them at their house in the Sunset District and took a stroll down to the beach like they so often do together.
I just let them do their thing while I did mine, quietly shooting away, capturing their family being silly, shy, and sweet. We eventually made it to the beach and I seized a few opportunities for some posed shots and then I set the kids free and just let them play. I love letting kids be kids and not forcing smiles. This was my first official family session and it's still one of my favorites I've ever shot!
